Sign in, buy raffle tickets if desired, greet friends and take a seat. The President welcomes members and any visitors. Following the singing of Jerusalem, items on the Agenda are dealt with; members are advised of news and developments; correspondence is read out giving information of forthcoming events, days out, courses etc. Guest Speaker - Most months we have a guest speaker who will give a talk about their chosen interest or subject, often accompanied by slides and/or a demonstration. Tea Break - We have tea and biscuits or sometimes a cheese and wine/soft drink break. During this time everyone can enjoy the opportunity to sign up for forthcoming events, enter any competition, raffle or just chat with friends. |

The meeting resumes. Raffle prizes are drawn, competition winners announced after which any other matters are dealt with. The meeting is closed by the President with a reminder of the programme for the following month.
